Thermoforming is a method of heating a plastic sheet and shaping it with air pressure or vacuum on a mold. It is used to manufacture parts from 0.1 to 15 mm (0.004 to 0.6 in) thick plastic sheets and finds application in the making of thin wall disposable containers like drinking glasses, cups for ice cream, yoghurt and other dairy products, disposable plates and trays, lunch/dinner boxes, jam/jelly packing cups etc. It also finds application in the making of refrigerator inners, freezer liners, airplane interiors, suitcase covers, automobile parts, bath tubs etc.

Wonderpack is now proud to introduce the Thermoforming machine with in-line cutting and stacking (TFC series). This machine is a state-of-the-art thermoforming machine with in-line cutting and stacking facility and has the ability to produce thermoformed articles and blisters of intricate shapes/contours and cut them with exceptionally good accuracy.

Its Servo drive mechanism gives high indexing accuracy, enabling precise sheet advance and hence accuracy in cutting. It also comes equipped with a fully automatic Process Logic Control with a host of features for reliability, repeatability, safety and operator friendly controls. The specially designed robust cutting station with steel-rule cutting blade helps in reducing tooling cost. The combination forming technique... unique combination of pressure and vacuum forming, enables in achieving sharper forming of complicated and deep drawn products.

In the post globalization era, cost-effective packaging with high aesthetic value has become a major marketing tool. Keeping this in mind, Wonderpack Industries offers fully automatic shrink wrapping machines (web sealer) in technical collaboration with world leader Samsapack, Italy. The system is fully automatic with pneumatic pusher, websealer and shrink tunnel with cooling zone. The pneumatic pusher pushes the product at the web sealing station, where the film from top and bottom rolls, unwinds and wraps the product forming a loose tube around the product. The product is then dispensed into the heat zone where the film is shrunk tightly around the product.
